Sprite editing is too much fun.
So here have a human Nepeta with barely any effort put into her at all.

So for Promstuck/Homestuck Winter Ball on December first, my matesprit and I decided to go as Karkat and Nepeta. :> Unfortunately, he doesn’t want to do troll makeup so that meant adapting her design for not only a prom dress but also as a human, so I came up with this as a guideline to go by when I put together her outfit! c: 

I’m really excited about this ahhh <3 All the little accuracies and things. Here’s a little break down of an explanation to why I did what:

• Dress: Nepeta’s primary colors are olive green (specifically her blood color shade) and black. Since the dress is the main part of her outfit, it would only make sense to put main colors in the dress. The heart symbol is placed on there simply because it fits well there and that shade of pink works well with the green of the dress. Nepeta also would most likely wear a short dress, due to her energetic personality. I don’t think she’d like being constrained by a long dress when she can easily run around in a short fluffy one. 
• Gloves: Nepeta does have her gloves with claws that she wears. To be able to match other aspects of her outfit, I’ve made them black, and long like dressy gloves usually are for women.
• Necklace: Necklace is a rounded necklace like her horns with her horn colors, and bears her symbol. (I might just make the necklace a pearl necklace though for convenience)  
• Ears and tail: Nepeta wears the tail along with her hat all the time, so it’s a clear piece that she likes to wear. Without horns, I imagine her hat would just have little blue cat ears. Since this is fancy though, I stuck to just the tail and made the hat into just ears adorned with ribbons and beads, like some of those ears you find at conventions have. They just seem a little more elegant. The ears cold work without the ribbons and beads as well, but if I switch the necklace back to a pearl necklace, it’ll help the design flow better.
• Shoes: Again, for convenience and comfort sake, Nepeta most likely would not wear heels - in this case, black flats are probably the most comfortable type of women’s dress shoe out there. These could also be blue like her normal shoes. 
• Teeth and Makeup: Teeth are just a cute little thing I through in there, since she’s so into roleplaying it ties in well with the ears and tail. Also makeup would be very sparse, and in shades of black and olive green, again being main colors of hers.

So yeah. uvu; If people like this enough I suppose I could finish off the rest of the human female troll designs and maybe add male human troll designs (answer this post with a yes if you’d be interested in seeing that)?
